Welcome to Jodie's Family Day Care. I offer quality home-based education and care for a small group of children with fifteen years experience as a family day care educator. I offer a holistic, child-centred approach that nurtures social confidence, exploration, independence and creativity.
At my service we enjoy a large backyard with plenty of lawn for running around on, a dirt pit area complete with mud kitchen, a garden for planting and watering, and a large verandah for playdough, painting, craft activities, and ride-on vehicles. Inside we enjoy a dedicated family day care play room and a room for resting.
I believe there is so much learning that occurs from exploring the wider community and so I also regularly take the children on excursions. The locations are guided by the children's interests and I ensure that we visit a variety of locations - playgrounds, nature spaces, museums, libraries and other educators homes.
