The team is passionate about providing high-quality education and care, and there is a genuine focus on creating a warm, welcoming environment for children and families. The educators are caring, dedicated, and you can tell they really know the children in their care. Every day you get photo updates on your child's learning. It's clear that the children's wellbeing, safety, and learning are at the heart of everything the team does.

A particular mention to Caitlin and Shania and Tanisha who at various times went above and beyond to help our family, but all the educators at OAC have been wonderful. As a strange aside: in four months over winter, not once did we get gastro. This feels kind of remarkable given it’s a daycare and daycares are notorious for winter viruses. I feel it speaks to the cleanliness of the centre and the effort put in by the staff in caring for the children. We have loved being part of the OAC community and wouldn’t hesitate recommending this centre! Thank you all!!!

Drop-offs are usually easy, and if my child is unsettled, someone quickly steps in to help. They provide thoughtful feedback about how my child is going and what they are working on, which I really appreciate. We have been happy with the care provided by the team.

As a first time mum, I was so anxious about sending my little girl to childcare, but from the very beginning the kindness, patience, and support from all of the management/educators made the transition so much easier for both of us.

At first, my daughter found it difficult to settle in, but watching her grow in confidence and build such beautiful relationships with the educators and the other children has been amazing. Seeing how happy and comfortable she is each day, especially with Emma and the wonderful nursery team, has given me so much reassurance and peace of mind. There is nothing more comforting than seeing her at the end of the day with a smile and seeing the educators excited to see her, knowing she is genuinely cared for.

This centre I cannot recommend more highly to any family. Thank you to each and every one of you for creating such a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment. The love, care, and dedication this centre provides every day have made a lasting impact on both my daughter and me. From day one, the educators made us feel comfortable and reassured that our baby was in the best hands.
The level of care they provide is exceptional. The staff are so loving, patient, and attentive, and it's clear they genuinely care about each child. Communication is also fantastic—they keep us updated throughout the day with photos, activities, feeding, naps, and how our baby is doing, which gives us so much peace of mind.

Our baby absolutely loves coming here! There are so many fun and age-appropriate developmental activities that encourage learning, exploration, and growth. It's wonderful to see how engaged and happy our little one is every day.

One thing we really appreciate is how supportive they are with breastfeeding. If you want your baby to continue having breast milk, they take great care of storing, handling, warming, and bottle-feeding it safely. They are very respectful of your feeding preferences and make the whole process easy for parents, which meant so much to us.

Looking back now, I can honestly say that choosing Only About Children Eastern Road was one of the best decisions we have ever made for our daughter.

When Ava first started, saying goodbye each morning was heartbreaking. She would cry, cling to us, and struggle with the transition. As parents, leaving her each day was incredibly difficult because we didn’t know if she would be okay.

Today, she runs through the gate with the biggest smile, excited to see her educators and friends. She talks about her day when she gets home, sings the songs she has learned, and can’t wait to come back each week. That transformation says everything about this wonderful centre.

Every educator here has shown genuine kindness, patience and professionalism. They don’t simply care for children—they build meaningful relationships with them. Every cuddle, every conversation, every word of encouragement, and every little achievement they celebrate has helped Ava grow into the happy, confident little girl she is today. Knowing that she is surrounded by people who truly care for her gives us so much comfort as parents.

The Learning Stories she writes are something our family will treasure forever. They don’t simply describe what happened during the day—they beautifully capture who Ava is as a little person. Every story reflects thoughtful observation, genuine encouragement and a deep understanding of her personality. As a mum, I have read them more than once, and they have brought tears to my eyes. They remind me that while I am away, someone truly sees my daughter, believes in her, celebrates her strengths, and loves her for exactly who she is.

We would also like to sincerely thank Jackie, Belinda, Mikayla, Georgia, Ariane and the entire team. Every educator we have met has been kind, caring and dedicated. It is so clear that everyone works together to create a warm, safe and nurturing environment where every child feels respected, valued and loved.

There is no greater comfort for a parent than knowing your child is not only safe, but genuinely happy and deeply cared for while you are apart.
