After previously trying out a different centre we made our way back to Motherduck because nothing compares. The attention to every child individual needs is like no other. They have made all 3 of my children feel safe and supported and have guided them amazingly into their schooling years. If you’re looking for a centre that helps develop a sense of belonging, independence and increases confidence in your child then Motherduck Brewer Street is the perfect place.

You can feel it from the moment you walk in the front door. Every space is intentional and the educators are consistent, encouraging and welcoming. The children love the space and you can just tell by all the happy faces that it is truly a special place. They are incredibly inclusive, celebrating all types of cultural and social diversity. They are definitely worth a look if you are currently looking for centre care/kindy in the Bracken Ridge area.

Our son moved across to the Kindy on Brewer Street a few months ago, and with the ongoing incredible support, attentiveness, and care provided by the educators, he has flourished in leaps and bounds. The spacious, natural surroundings in the outdoor play area are a highlight for our very active 3 year old. We have also noticed an increase in his confidence, independence, and sense of self since transitioning to the Kindy.

While there are a lot of children in attendance each day, rest assured that each and every educator will be able to give you a detailed handover of your child’s day each afternoon. It is truly our home away from home and we feel so fortunate to have Mother Duck as part of our village and support network.

We absolutely adore Mother Duck! My daughter Kaddy first started attending way back in 2020 where she completed the kindy program and progressed... We absolutely adore Mother Duck! My daughter Kaddy first started attending way back in 2020 where she completed the kindy program and progressed on to school. When I had my next daughter Mella I was eager to get her in to Mother Duck as soon as a spot became available. I had to go back to work quite early on with Mella and so she has been through all of the rooms, now a big kindy girl. Throughout our entire experience we have felt so supported and loved. Mella has additional support needs and Mother Duck was able to seamlessly address these concerns and help provide and facilitate the extra support required. They also have the best family Christmas parties, movie nights and so much more! All of the staff members are so welcoming and it makes it so much easier going to work knowing that Mella will be supported and cared for in a loving and safe environment. Childcare is such a hot topic right now and with such negative media coverage across all of the sector I write this review in the hopes that you feel much more at ease when considering Mother Duck Bellbowrie. No centre is perfect but this one is right up there with the best! A home away from home, the centre, their morals, and the staff members truly are a lifeline to us.

The educators are caring, nurturing & genuinely invested in the wellbeing & development of every child. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the warm, welcoming & wholesome environment they have created. Our children have formed wonderful relationships, gained confidence & learned so much through the engaging activities & support provided by the amazing team exspecially Mrs Mel. We have always felt comfortable knowing our kids are safe, loved & encouraged to be their best selves. I am almost the latest parent to pick my kid most of time but the staff are all very patient and friendly. I highly recommend this centre.

It’s been amazing to see his growth, not just in his learning but also in his confidence. He has built such positive and meaningful relationships with both the educators and his peers, which really shows how supportive and nurturing the environment is. Every day when we pick him up, he always has a fun and exciting story to share, which says a lot about how engaged and happy he is. We’re so grateful to the team for creating such a caring and enriching space for the children. Highly recommend to any families looking for a centre where their child can truly flourish.
