First Five Early Learning

My two little ones started at First Five Reservoir last year, and it was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made for them!

With 10 years of experience in early childhood education, I’m very particular about the care and education my children receive, and First Five has exceeded my expectations.

My son was wonderfully supported in his final year of kindergarten, with his teacher proactively recognising and addressing his developmental needs before I even had to raise my concerns. My daughter, who barely slept at her previous centre, started sleeping up to three hours a day at First Five! It meant so much to see her educators recognise and respond to what her little body needed. And both my children went from barely eating to happily enjoying multiple bowls of food. Chef Brett, you’re a magician! 😂❤️

The entire team genuinely cares about the children. The educators work collaboratively with families, embrace each child’s personality and make drop-offs easier for parents. A special mention to Meagan, Jessie and Casey for their incredible leadership, knowledge and support.

My son has since started primary school, but whenever he visits, he’s still welcomed with open arms by his educators. Seeing those relationships continue beyond kindergarten is truly heartwarming.

As both a parent and an early childhood professional, I know how rare it is to find a service with such consistent dedication, passion and genuine care across the entire team.

I couldn’t recommend First Five Reservoir more highly. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of the First Five family! ❤️

We’ve had a really positive experience with First Five Early Learning. My son is currently attending Kindy there, and I’m very happy with the care and support he receives.

The educators are kind, caring and welcoming, and they make the children feel comfortable and supported. It’s lovely to see my son enjoying his time there, learning new things and building his confidence.

First Five Early Learning in Reservoir is a wonderful daycare for my 3 year old grandson. It’s beautifully designed & set out with lovely play areas and equipment. The staff there are so caring & kind and I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Words honestly don’t feel enough to express how grateful I am to this childcare centre and to every educator who has cared for my children over the years.
My daughter attended this centre when she was just a baby, and now my son is there too. Knowing that some of the wonderful “OG” educators — Gurjeet, Janice and Ebonie — are still there from the time my daughter was little makes it feel even more special. There is such a strong sense of familiarity, trust and genuine care.
My son absolutely loves going every day. He happily walks through the doors without a tear, which, as a parent, says so much. The educators make learning fun, engaging and exciting, and I can see how much he enjoys the activities and experiences they provide. There is always something different happening, and I love seeing how much thought and creativity goes into what they do.
One of the things I value most is the communication. Even the smallest accident or incident is promptly reported, and every concern I have ever raised has been listened to and addressed with care. I completely trust the decisions the educators make when it comes to my children and have never had a second thought about leaving them in their care. That level of trust is priceless.
The meals are another big win — both of my children have always loved the food! 😂
What I also admire deeply is how the centre celebrates and respects everyone, regardless of their background, beliefs or religion. My children are growing up in an environment where diversity is embraced, kindness is encouraged and everyone is treated with respect.
Every educator I have encountered has been experienced, kind, patient and genuinely caring. You can tell that this is more than just a job for them — they truly care about the children and their wellbeing.
To all the educators, especially those who have been part of our journey from the very beginning, thank you. Thank you for nurturing my children, teaching them, making them laugh, keeping them safe and helping them grow into confident little people.
I trust you with the most precious things in my life, and I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. We are incredibly lucky to have found a centre that feels like an extension of our family.

Both my kids attend this centre, and I'm vert happy with it. The staff are very friendly, and take great care of the children . I really like the centre.
The only thing I feel they could improve is being a little more flexible with swapping days when needed.

First 5 where the educators feel like family & my kids love going each and every day. Shout out to all educators especially Janice Nalika, Olivia, kelly & Vali!! Also pre kinder Tash & Jasveer! For always making my kids feel loved and welcomed
Ebonie & Paige are always so easy to talk to if you need anything and very welcoming
Shout out to Ben the chef also always cooking up a storm that the kids love and is always happy to share the recipes!

First five is a beautiful centre, we are so grateful to have a safe place for our son to learn and play in. The indoor/outdoor space is big and perfect for all seasons so the children are always able to enjoy outdoor play (which my son loves!)
The Management team are always friendly and helpful and the educators are so wonderful and welcoming, we are very fortunate having this team take such good care of our son.

We enrolled our co-sleeping, exclusively breastfed little one at 12 months old, just four weeks after my mother passed away. To say I was anxious and emotional about the transition would be an understatement.

From my very first tour with Donna, I had a feeling that First Five was something special. The centre is beautiful and always spotless, the communication is top-notch, and most importantly, the staff are second to none. Every educator is so warm, nurturing and attentive. You can genuinely tell they love what they do and truly care for every little one in their nursery.

Our son settled in beautifully and formed such close bonds with his educators (Kirsten and Rika are amazing!!) within just a few weeks. Watching him grow in confidence, independence and development over the past six months has been incredible. I know so much of that is thanks to the wonderful care he receives, the friendships he’s made, and the fun, creative and developmentally appropriate activities his educators plan each day.

I will always be grateful to our First Five family for supporting me through such a difficult season of life in ways they probably don’t even realise, and for taking such beautiful care of my little one. I truly can’t recommend this centre highly enough. 💛
