The centre is always clean, and the staff put a lot of effort into maintaining a hygienic environment - my children are rarely sick!
The food is good, there is a large playground, an obstacle course, and an amazing fort that kids absolutely love.

If you're looking for a centre that sends constant updates and photos throughout the day, this may not be the right fit. However, I've noticed that instead of spending time writing observations on iPads, the educators are actively engaging with the children, organising meaningful activities, and giving them their full attention. 👌

I also love the variety of sensory play experiences and the additional activities they offer, such as science classes, soccer, park picnics, and Bush Kinder.

Absolutely adore this kindy, we had transitioned from another kindy early into the year and they made the whole experience so much easier!... Very grateful for my kids to go through their first years of their learning journeys at little scholars and be taught by the most kind hearted educators. The communication from the team is fantastic, and it’s obvious how much love and effort goes into creating fun, engaging activities for the children. Our child absolutely loves going to kindy and has grown so much socially and emotionally since starting.

We’re so grateful to all of the amazing educators for everything they do. We highly recommend this kindy to any family looking for a caring and supportive place for their little one!

Maddies loved it so much and the love from everyone is phenomenal and shines through whenever we do drop off and pick up. Maddie is always happy to see everyone even when she’s tired and cranky haha
The food is always yummy and so good for younger babies exploring new tastes and textures !

A wonderful daycare, I cannot recommend Little Scholars Deception Bay at Cross St highly enough. My son has been attending since 11months in Nursery (now almost 18months). As a first time mum I am so grateful for how kind and caring the staff have been towards our family to help support us with this big transition when I returned to work. When I attended a tour here, I immediately knew this was the daycare for my son, it has a lovely safe atmosphere. The manager Courtney is so approachable and friendly, Dana in admin is the most lovely, kind person you could want on the front desk and my boy and I are so lucky to have the most beautiful educators in his nursery - Kirsty and Sienna - my son reaches to them for a cuddle at drop off, and they are the most lovely and involved educators. I have been so impressed with how the nursery is run, and and it truly is such a relief knowing how loved and cared for he is with them, and seeing the bond he has now formed with them is beautiful. An extra shout out to Cadence and Lisa too, who have been wonderful with my boy from the very beginning! It's also amazing to see all the things he learns during his days there, the children are continuously learning and participating in different activities. It really is a beautiful centre and you can tell the staff are passionate about their roles, and it shows in the way they care for the children. Our family is very happy with this centre. Thank you Cross St team for running such a lovely centre, we are so grateful!

All of the activities for the kids are incredible which so much thought going into every day. I wouldn’t trust my daughter anywhere else!

Have recommended Ormeau 2 to many of my friends.
